  Arrived at the advertised 24 hour McDonalds in Calpe, only to find it did not open until 9am, not a problem, I can keep myself and the kids entertained for 10 minutes. Ordered in our broken Spanish, the server was very patient, her English was excellent. But the next 28 minutes waiting for 2 croissants and 2 egg muffins was the most painful of my life. Trying to convince my stomach that my throat had not been cut, was a challenge, as much as it is for this McDonalds to cope with cooking a breakfast order. The family who came in behind me (and only other customers) had theirs cooked before mine, yet the the server still asked if the order was mine, when I reminded her that it was the other families, she suggested that I could take it over for them, I would have normally, had I not been so weak with hunger.

  It's a typical Macdonalds but nice and clean and never too busy, parking can be a bit of a nightmare though but there's a drive through if you can't park and go in.

  Some confusion in the order as we ordered as a group of 17. But all sorted out amicably by the manager. Cannot fault the food. Facilities were clean.

  Over for a holiday with teenage sons. Obviously mcds is first port of call and were we disappointed....ummmm well staff know no english, coke is very watery and after ordering a water i instead received a lemon flat drink of some description. On the plus side i was avlble to order a beer which was nice,but the beef burgers are very dry.

  Conclusion, it's not s 24 hour restaurant, it is a suggestion of time you have to take out of your life if you want food. Save yourself the heartache, go to the beachfront, better meal, better service and in a reasonable amount of time.
